From our own Bust-A-Move events to community performances, jams, workshops and special events, we love creating opportunities to bring people together through Hip Hop and dance.

  • Breakin’ Convention 2026 – The Adult Crew represented ‘The Groove Guide‘, a performance exploring the history and culture of five dance styles: Breaking, Locking, Popping, House and Waacking.
  • Burmantofts Festival – The Bust-A-Move Youth and Adults Breaking Crew performed at the festival, bringing Breaking to the local community.
  • Grimsby’s / Cleethorpes Urban Arts Festival – Bust-A-Move delivered Breaking workshops and took part in freestyle performances, encouraging audiences to give it a go.
  • Leeds Light Night – Bust-A-Move Adults Breakers performed as part of Leeds Light Night with an electric-themed performance with white tracksuits and light up shoes engaging the oldest youth members.
  • Superheroes show for the superheroes week at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
  • Pop-Up Circus – The Youth Crew alongside Chris and Marie got to perform and teach workshops alongside other acts on Briggate. This was in collaboration with Open Source Arts and Yorkshire Circus.
  • Fresh – The Youth Crew were selected to be a part of Fresh, a yorkshire Dance’s youth dance platform, which showcases and celebrates the work of young dancers from across the region.
  • The Annual Community Dance Platform of the NSCD (Northern School of Contemporary Dance) in Leeds.
  • The Celebration of Dance of the Dance Studio Leeds.
  • Fifty – Fifty – This event was ran by ourselves and another local Hip Hop organisation ran by our friend Philthee Hello Hip-hop.
  • Battle for Briggate – Another Jam organised by our friend Philthee Hello Hip-hop.
  • Beeston Festival – The Bust-A-Move Crew, including both our Youth and Adult dancers, performed at the festival, bringing Hip Hop dance to the local community. We also delivered a workshop, giving everyone the opportunity to get involved and have a go.
  • Open Season at Leeds Playhouse.
  • Kirkstall Art Trail in Leeds.
  • FACE Theatre in collaboration with Elevate Young Minds, in Manchester.
  • Get Busy at Left Bank in Leeds.
  • Dance it Up North in Thirsk, a York Dance Space’s dance platform.
  • Warm-up act of The Lock In show by Breaking Tradition featuring live music from The Demon Barbers at Lawrence Batley Theatre.
  • Leeds Dance Open Day.
  • Yorkshire Youth Dance Platform at Phoenix Dance Theatre in Northern Ballet in Leeds.
  • Bust-A-Move Festival vol. 1, vol. 2 and vol. 3.
